What Is Peer-to-Peer Delivery? (Pakistan)
Peer-to-peer delivery means a real traveler already heading your way buys and carries your item, instead of a logistics company shipping a package through a warehouse network. The trust problem that creates โ a stranger holding your money or your item โ gets solved with escrow, ID verification, and a required purchase receipt, not by just hoping it works out.
The basic concept
Peer-to-peer delivery means a real traveler who's already heading your way buys and carries your item โ instead of a logistics company shipping a package through a warehouse network on its own schedule. It works because international flights happen constantly regardless of any specific delivery, and most travelers have spare luggage space they're not using.
How this is different from a courier like DHL
A courier ships a package through a logistics network โ warehouses, sorting facilities, customs brokerage โ on a schedule set by that network. A peer-to-peer delivery is a person carrying your item as part of a trip they're already taking, which tends to be faster (no warehouse consolidation step) and, specifically through BRNG, backed by escrow and ID verification rather than a shipping contract.
Solving the obvious trust problem
Having a stranger hold your money, or hold your item, is a real problem if nothing backs the arrangement. BRNG solves it with three mechanisms together: the buyer's payment is locked in escrow and never directly held by the traveler; every traveler completes government-issued ID verification before accepting a single request; and the traveler must upload the real purchase receipt before being marked as having bought the item. None of these mechanisms work alone โ it's the combination that makes it safe.
Is peer-to-peer delivery legal in Pakistan?
Having a traveler carry a legally-permitted personal item in their luggage isn't restricted โ the same customs and baggage rules that apply to any traveler's belongings apply here too. See our customs allowance guide for specifics, and how BRNG works end to end.

- Escrow โ the buyer's payment is locked by the platform, not held by the traveler, and only releases to the traveler after the buyer confirms delivery. The traveler also can't get paid without a confirmed delivery, and every traveler is ID-verified before they can accept a single request.
