1. Acceptance of these terms
By joining the BRNG waitlist or otherwise using brng.space, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't use the site. These terms will be updated as BRNG moves from waitlist to a live, transactable platform.
2. BRNG is pre-launch
BRNG is not yet live. No buyer requests, traveler deliveries, payments, or escrow transactions are currently processed through the platform. Joining the waitlist reserves your spot and does not create any obligation on either side. These terms describe how the platform is intended to work once launched; the operational terms that actually govern live transactions will be confirmed and republished at launch.
3. What BRNG is (and isn't)
BRNG is a peer-to-peer cross-border shopping platform for Pakistan: verified travelers already flying to Pakistan bring your international orders, and your payment stays in escrow until you confirm delivery. BRNG is not a courier, freight forwarder, shipping company, or customs broker. We provide the trust layer — escrow, identity verification, ratings, and dispute support — not the logistics.
4. Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to form a binding contract to use BRNG. Travelers must complete government-issued ID verification before accepting any request. You're responsible for the accuracy of the information on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.
5. Buyer responsibilities
As a buyer, you're responsible for requesting only items you're legally permitted to import into Pakistan, for paying any customs duty or tax assessed on arrival, and for confirming delivery accurately and promptly once you've received and inspected your item.
6. Traveler responsibilities
As a traveler, you're responsible for checking your airline's baggage policy and Pakistani customs rules before accepting a request, for purchasing the genuine item and uploading a real store receipt, and for only carrying items you're legally permitted to bring into Pakistan. You may decline any request you're not comfortable carrying.
7. Escrow and payments
When a buyer places a request, payment — item cost, the traveler's delivery reward, and BRNG's service fee — is held in escrow and is not released to the traveler until the buyer confirms delivery in the app. BRNG's exact fee structure will be published before launch. 8. Prohibited items
Weapons and ammunition, controlled substances and prescription drugs without valid authorization, flammable or hazardous goods, perishable food, live animals, and anything banned from import under Pakistani law may never be requested or carried through BRNG. This list is illustrative, not exhaustive — travelers and buyers are both responsible for knowing and following applicable restrictions.
9. Customs and import compliance
BRNG does not clear customs, pay duties, or provide legal or customs advice on anyone's behalf. Any customs duty or tax assessed on an item is the buyer's responsibility. 10. Disputes
If a delivery is late, an item doesn't match what was purchased, or something else goes wrong, either party can open a dispute and escrow stays frozen until it's resolved. BRNG support reviews the uploaded receipt, in-app communication, and both parties' history to make a call. A fully self-serve dispute flow is planned for a later phase; until then, disputes are handled directly by our team.
11. Limitation of liability
BRNG provides a platform connecting buyers and travelers and is not a party to the underlying purchase of goods. 12. Termination
BRNG may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, fraudulent activity, or abuse of the platform. You can stop using BRNG and leave the waitlist at any time.
13. Governing law

14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as BRNG moves toward launch and beyond. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date on this page.
